Nic Steevenson Human Factors Training

Nic served for 10 years in the RAF as a Tornado Navigator. She flew on a front line Squadron leading multi aircraft formations as well as latterly undertaking developmental missile firings in a demanding, pressured environment. Nic was also a highly qualified instructor; mentoring and designing training for trainees undergoing the advanced phase of their fast jet training.

After she left the RAF Nic was Chief Ground Instructor for a major European Airline. She provided oversight and management of all internal and 3rd party pilot ground school training and instructed Human Factors internationally. She has completed Crew Resource Management Instructor Training.

More recently Nic has been working developing and delivering innovative and immersive training techniques for Human Factors training. She has been working using tools such as a 737 full motion flight simulator and Virtual Reality to deliver unique training solutions for the NHS and other clients.

Nic has a B Eng in Aerospace Engineering and also consults on Error and Safety Risk Management.
