Matt joined the Royal Air Force in 1995 and specialised in the VIP role. He became Training Captain on 32 The Royal Squadron and head of training on the Hawker 125 aircraft. He was responsible for flying members of the Royal Family, The Prime Minister and Cabinet world wide. Whilst in the RAF Matt became a Crew Resource Management Instructor. In 2006, Matt joined a major international airline, initially flying the Airbus A320 and from 2012 to present the Boeing 747-400 on their long haul routes.
