Human Factors Advanced Masterclasses: In-house training.

Atrainability’s Masterclasses have been developed from working with and listening to our clients’ needs and can be delivered in-house at your organisation or chosen venue. Course participants can expect to gain an advanced, in-depth understanding of specific Human Factors challenges. Our trainers will also work with you, listening to your issues and concerns to develop and deliver a training course that fits your specific requirements. Ultimately the training will offer insights and practical techniques that can be successfully implemented into your daily practice after completing the course. 

Who should attend?

Our Masterclasses are CPD accredited, suitable for all staff grades and can be easily adapted for healthcare, safeguarding or mental health professionals. We highly recommend that all course participants have a firm understanding of Human Factors prior to attending our advanced courses. Human Factors MasterclassesMASTERCLASS : Walking the Tightrope Workshop

for Building & Maintaining Confidence in Clinical Performance

1 Day - 6 CPD points

This challenging and lively one-day human factors workshop offers insight into the everyday pressures that challenge the fine balance between self-confidence and humility, and aims to help you build resilience and walk the tightrope of appropriate responsibility.

We will explore how we are all fallible and can make simple mistakes regardless of our commitment,
knowledge and skills. Drawing on our experience in aviation, health and social care, Atrainability offer practical
tools and strategies to help maintain and sustain high levels of performance under daily challenging conditions.

This workshop will consider:

  • How & why errors are made
  • The balance between fallibility & maintaining confidence under pressure or when stressed
  • The significance of approachability & the need to enhance this in our teams
  • Building resilience & accepting that humility is an essential part of professionalism
  • The essentials of learning from successful outcomes as well from events that haven’t gone quite so well, or indeed as planned!
  • The benefits and keystones of a healthy reporting culture that promotes transparency and learning
